The Mechatronics and Automation of Electromechanical Systems Laboratory supports academic education, applied research, and technological development in modern electromechanical systems. The laboratory provides an environment where students, researchers, and collaborators can work on the analysis, design, implementation, and validation of integrated engineering solutions. Its activities combine theoretical modelling, experimental investigation, and practical prototyping, with emphasis on systems that connect mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computational technologies.
Field of Research
The laboratory’s research focuses on mechatronic systems, automation and control, energy system automation, power electronics, embedded systems, sensing and instrumentation, and autonomous robotic platforms. Particular emphasis is placed on the modelling, control, integration, and experimental evaluation of electromechanical and energy-related systems, as well as on intelligent and autonomous technologies for industrial and energy applications.
