Laboratory of Plant Pathology
The Laboratory of Plant Pathology of the Department of Agricultural Development, Democritus University of Thrace, supports undergraduate and postgraduate education and conducts basic and applied research in plant pathology and plant protection. Research activities focus on the molecular and genetic identification of plant pathogenic microorganisms, the genetic basis of plant resistance to pathogens, plant microbiomes and plant–microbiome interactions, as well as biological and integrated plant protection.
