The Laboratory of Educational Psychology and Special Education supports teaching, research, and applied work in the fields of Educational Psychology and Special Education. Its main aim is to collect, analyse, and apply research evidence to improve educational practice, promote inclusion, and support students’ learning, adjustment, and wellbeing through research, assessment, intervention, collaboration, and educational training activities.

Field of Research

The Laboratory’s research field lies at the intersection of Educational Psychology and Special Education. Its work focuses on learning processes, educational assessment, student adjustment and inclusion, intervention programmes, and the use of research evidence to improve educational practice.
