Biophysics Laboratory

The Laboratory focuses on high-level interdisciplinary research in Biophysics across a wide range of fields, with particular emphasis on medical applications. Its activities include the study of physical and mechanical properties of materials and systems, analytical and numerical methodologies in medicine, interactions of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation with living matter, nanotechnology applications, dosimetry, biomechanical characterization of materials, biomedical engineering, bioethics, and the broader investigation of physical phenomena related to living organisms.
