| "Method for the management, preprocessing, and analysis of Raman spectra from a portable spectrometer using machine learning algorithms for the intraoperative evaluation of neoplasms in human tissues." | Number 1010785. | 09.10.2024 | ALFA GAVANOUDIS TECHNOLOGIA EPIKOINONIES PLIROFORIKI ANONYMI ETAIREIA ME D T ALPHA PLIROFORIKI A E [GR | The method of processing raman spectra allows their electronic transfer storage and processing, by an artificial intelligence system installed on a server connected to the internet. The server runs algorithms and models according to which it can run both data for machine learning as well as receiving or sending data and measurements that need immediate prediction or diagnosis. So when we have available spectra taken either post-operatively or directly in the operating room (and during it) the system can receive the data, send it for processing, update the database and be informed by the corresponding Al algorithms and models to give accurate and direct information about the status of any neoplasms (cancers) that may be detected. The method was applied with high accuracy (>85% continuously improving) in the safe prediction of healthy and cancerous colorectal tissues. Biological samples were obtained from the Medical Schools of the University of Athens and the University of Thrace and the raman experiments were performed at the School of Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences of the National Technical University of Athens. | https://gr.espacenet.com/publicationDetails/originalDocument?FT=D&date=20241009&DB=&locale=gr_GR&CC=GR&NR=1010785B&KC=B&ND=5 |
