Field of Research

The Laboratory of Geobotany and Plant Diversity Conservation focuses on the study of the distribution and ecology of plant species, the analysis of plant communities and habitats, and the relationship between vegetation and the natural environment, while also emphasizing the conservation of plant biodiversity through the protection of rare, endemic, and threatened species, the mapping and monitoring of ecosystems, and the development of strategies for the sustainable management and restoration of natural habitats.
